The Dawn of War II Open Beta is going live later today, at approximately 8pm EST. If you don’t remember Dawn of War I, it’s the real-time strategy game that redefined the genre by focusing on squad combat and forcing players outside of their bases to attain resources. I wasn’t particularly fond of the first game, but by all means the sequel is definitely worth checking out, especially with a free open beta. It will be available on Steam so check it out. I’ll post some screenshots and videos as soon as possible.
