Steve Jobs Takes Leave From Apple

It has been announced that Apple’s famous and beloved CEO, Steve Jobs, is taking a 5-month leave from his company. Steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2004, and since then complications have caused a deterioration of his health. Speculation seems to be that Steve’s condition is worse than he originally let on, fueled primarily by his thinning appearance over the past few years. Many people are apprehensive about the leave, claiming that Jobs is making plans to step down or be dethroned.

Hopefully it’s not too serious.. I saw Attack of the Show last night, and they were talking about how he might come back, then step aside as CEO but still stay on at Apple in some other role, like Gates did with Microsoft.

This will be more or less then end of Apple I think. Jobs basically is the company. When he left originally the company just tanked. Only in the past 3-4 years has the company really returned to the level of prominence it had in the 80’s. Now that Jobs is leaving I think we can expect Apple to return to the level it was in the early-mid 90’s.
